Family Trip of a Lifetime initially contacted Ultimate Adventures in January 2025 with very specific requirements for a family holiday to Kenya for my family of 20! This trip tools months of planning and each step of the way John was very hands on planning and expediting the trip! John was hands on at dealing with my requirements for a bespoke safari trip, trip to the central province and apartment stay in Nairobi plus other holiday experiences. Most of my family were visiting Kenya for the first time and it was critical to me that their experience of Kenya was nothing but AMAZING! Well Ultimate Adventures exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to deliver a very bespoke experience!!! My family now want to live to Kenya!! Maasai Mara Our trip was incredible, Peter our tour guide was amazing, considerate and very knowledgeable. The Maasai Mara tour was fantastic we got to see plenty of animals. Enthousiastic Kenya Peter and I went on safari with John in March 2024: 5 days, 848 km across the Kenyan highlands around Nairobi: via Muranga to the Great Rift Valley, past the Thompson Falls to Lake Nakuru. Here we crossed the Nakuru National Park. Via Nyahururu and Naivasha we reached Nanyuki at the foot of Mount Kenya. We crossed the equator several times and enjoyed fantastic views of the landscape, which changed dramatically at different altitudes.Our tour guide John Gachanja was our encyclopedia, our cultural mediator, our life guide in the chaotic Kenyan traffic. It is simply an institution that you should not miss as a Kenyan holidaymaker with a wide range of interests. He knows the country and its people like the back of his hand, as well as the habits and customs of the various ethnic groups, which is definitely an advantage when traveling through the country. John knows every good spot, even away from the tourist hotspots, and organizes nice accommodations that Europeans and Americans will find very pleasant. John always knows how to get the best out of every situation and gives you the feeling of immersing yourself deeply in the country, even in just a few days. A safari with him or organized by him is simply a must have for Kenya vacationers! Allow yourself to be open-minded and immersed in his unmistakable feel for people, times and situations. Perfect 4 day tailor made safari to Amboseli and Tsavo West We wanted to see both Amboseli and Tsavo West, but were not sure how to best do it. John from Ultimate Adventures then prepared a great trip for us, considering our wishes and bringing in his expertise. We had a great driver, who was both responsible and knowledgeable, the van was also in good condition. We stayed every day at a different lodge, which allowed us to see much more then just staying at one place. The quality of the lodges was also great, especially the Maneaters lodge next to Tsavo. Excellent Safari Experience Booked a trip to Maasai Mara with Ultimate Adventures and it was a wonderful experience. The driver was professional and very knowledgeable. He took us on two safari trips every day for 3 days and we managed to see the BIG FIVE during this tour. I definitely recommend them for your next safari.
